Emptiness and sadness drag me inside. It is here that the symbols allow me to leave the Earth; here is where I join the invisible lords, at night. Shadows and ghosts do not enter the circle, and no one can see us inside it. The reason, the reason ... what is the reason? Time, time… what is time? I am connected, with the others and with the 13.

Walking into the void, dominated by my vision, I abandoned fantasy, for the ice palace. The trees look at me, I can't resist their call. I get lost into the labyrinth, I follow other voices. The gaze is lost, I perceive an unusual frequency, in the dark of the night. Somewhere, in this wood, there is an unknown tree, a tree perhaps felled... Its roots are now inside of me.

Loneliness, trees, snow… An unknown force makes everything else suddenly banal. With body and mind so tired, I am now ready to enter… I have known the divine force, it has manifested itself through the fog, through its gray monotony. A power indifferent to feelings, emotions, and the fate of humanity... The pureness of crystal, the pureness of ice!

The threshold. After a long time, I get it! The passage is the key; the non-human power of the snow-covered forests separates me from the rest of humanity. Death… not the one we know. The threshold... How not to go crazy in front of such a revelation? The spirit of the night, takes my hand.

The destruction of my mind, of my thoughts, it is not easy to stay and leave at the same time; for those who do not seek salvation, for those who do not seek damnation, life turns into an eternal winter wandering. Union of opposites, my sight is lost in a bleak, cold landscape, a devastating dryness fills my soul, I am penetrated by a cold blade, it is the 'sign', the baptism of solitude...

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
